Let us introduce ourselves: two lifelong dog lovers from Málaga, Spain, who turned a shared dream into a reality. Meet Juan and Carmen, the heart and soul of JCDTK9.
Juan Gonzalez
Founder & Lead Trainer

Hi, I’m Juan, and dogs have been my passion for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a small village in Málaga, Spain, I was always surrounded by them, fascinated by their unique personalities and the bonds they formed with us. This deep connection inspired me to dedicate my life to understanding their behavior and helping them live their best lives alongside their humans.

In 2022, I turned that passion into reality by founding JCDTK9. Since then, I’ve become a certified Dog Behaviorist, certified Dog Decoy and Professional Dog Trainer, continuously learning from the world’s top trainers. My approach combines science-backed techniques with a personalized touch, focusing not just on training dogs but also on educating their owners. I believe the key to a well-behaved dog is an informed and empowered owner.

Over the years, we've helped more than 250 families in London overcome even the most challenging behavioral issues. Whether it’s building confidence in anxious dogs, resolving aggression, or refining obedience, my goal is to create lasting results and stronger relationships between dogs and their owners.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my dog, Ninzom, who often helps me during training sessions, and exploring new techniques to further improve my skills. Together, we’re on a mission to build a community where every dog and owner can thrive.

Hi, I’m Carmen, and as the co-founder and CEO of JCDTK9, I ensure that every dog in our care feels safe, loved, and enriched. Like Juan, I grew up in Málaga, Spain, in a home filled with dogs. From an early age, I learned the value of patience, compassion, and consistency—qualities that now define my approach to dog care and training.

At JCDTK9, I specialize in boarding, daycare, and structured walks, creating a nurturing environment that supports each dog’s well-being. I also assist in training sessions, working closely with Juan to help dogs and their owners achieve their goals. My mission is to tailor our services to the unique needs of every pup, ensuring they feel at home and thrive under our care.

I’m deeply committed to professional growth and am constantly expanding my skill set. My next milestone is becoming a certified dog groomer, which will allow me to provide a comprehensive range of services to our clients.

What sets me apart is my dedication to creating a positive experience for both dogs and their owners. Whether it’s ensuring a smooth transition during boarding, providing engaging walks, or supporting training milestones, my focus is on building trust and confidence.

Outside of work, I love spending time with our dog, Ninzom, and exploring new ways to enhance our services. For me, JCDTK9 is more than just a business—it’s a labor of love, and I’m proud to be part of every client’s journey.
